One to one training

This effective form of training is perfect when knowledge of specific applications is required in a hurry. The training can be designed to meet your immediate needs and is the answer for busy executives who find it difficult to attend scheduled courses. One to one training sessions can be arranged to fit into a busy working life.

People go on a course because they have a specific business issue to overcome. With one to one training you can spend the course learning exactly what you need to learn, on your own data and at your own pace. This can be a truly effective and targeted training session, so you don’t have to then spend yet more time applying the concepts and putting it into practice. By the end of the day, you've not only had a day's training, but also done a day's work too.

In-house training

We offer on-site training to help your organisation minimise the time staff spend away from their desks by sending our trainer to you. We offer a series of courses at 3 levels for each of the Microsoft Office applications. However, we can also work with you to design a series of bespoke courses, choosing the contents that are relevant to your business and staff. Mouse Literate will even work with you to learn and understand your own in house systems, with a view to training your staff.

Learning in a small group of colleagues is a great way to get to know fellow staff members as well as sharing knowledge. Participants of a course run in this way can gain a lot from the discussion to be had among people all working for the same business. Not to mention, there'll be other people to ask if you forget things after the course!

And unlike most training companies, we don't charge by the delegate, other than a small charge for materials. So if the group of 4 suddenly becomes 6, the cost will barely change.

We also offer a floor walking option which is a great follow up after a series of courses.

Upgrade training

Upgrading to Microsoft Office 2007 or 2010? We have a specially designed course that will help you quickly get to grips with the main differences from your earlier version.

Microsoft Office 2007 is arguably the most extensive upgrade ever produced for the Office suite. As well as new native XML file formats, the suite has a totally new user interface and a host of new features to improve your productivity and the content that you produce.

All these new features will make the new products easier to use, but for your staff to get the most out of your upgrade investment they will need training.

We offer short seminar sessions that are ideal for a large number of users to go through the key new features, such as converting documents and working with the ribbons instead of menus. Previous experience of an earlier version of the software is required.

We also offer more in depth upgrade training aimed at groups of 6 or 8 delegates.

Floor Walking

Upgrading computer systems is a stressful business and your IT Department will be busy focusing on the installation, but the staff are bound to have questions. Our trainer could visit your office and be available to answer questions and give people training at their desk.  A great cost effective way of answering lots of specific questions in a short period of time.

Floor walking is an effective follow up after a classroom based lesson. The trainer is available on the floor to help staff implement their new knowledge. It is also ideal for organisations that prefer training to be delivered on a one-to-one basis at the employees' desk.
